Many were surprised with yesterday's announcement as I thought but this time, Mao-san has been appointed as the Red Team host of the 62nd Kouhaku Uta Gassen.
By all means, Mao-san never imagined for once that she will be given such hosting offer. At first, she was just astonished but since she never had a hosting experience before, she started to worry a lot asking, "Will I be alright?"
Nevertheless, it has been an honor to be offered to do a national TV program that spanned for a year. Despite the worries, with the aim of making all those people who supported Ohisama a bit happy, she gladly took the offer.
Until before the press conference yesterday, a very nervous Mao-san told me, "My heart is about to jump out (of my chest)." Things calmed for a bit when she talked with Arashi at the waiting room.
The 62nd Kouhaku Uta Gassen will be broadcasted on December 31 from 7:15PM to 11:45PM. Please look forward to it!
